What are we?

Fit For Parents is a yoga style built for family life, by someone who understands exactly what that means. I’ve been there, through the sleepless nights, the aches of overuse injuries and the long recovery period of postpartum.

Who are we?

I’m Hannah, the creator of Fit For Parents

I’m a registered yoga teacher and certified pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist. I’m also a nutritionist and mum of two beloved toddlers. I designed this program the year after my son was born. My body was totally unprepared for the physical demands of raising little kids and I wanted someone to show me the skills to deal with those demands. But no one had the right program for me. Classes were too long. And in a gym? No way. I needed a program that didn’t exist. So I built it myself.  The flows in Fit For Parents are the same ones I used to move better and do more in my own parenting.

HOW DOES THE COURSE WORK?

Made for you. Simple, doable, powerful movement

It feels impossible to take care of yourself when so much of your energy and love goes into taking care of other people. Fit For Parents is here to make it easier. The tailored flows teach you yoga skills to get stronger, move smarter and stay focused when it matters. The course uses the combination of detailed anatomy and physiology knowledge and the personal experience of parenting to help you figure out what your body needs.

Short classes that are big on skills

Fit For Parents courses will teach you body awareness and balanced movement across four new lessons each week. The classes have been designed to equip you with the knowledge you need to learn different ways of moving throughout your day – not just on the mat.

Get to know yourself

If we had a motto it would be this; pay attention. I believe in getting to know your body on the mat so you can know yourself better off of it. The Fit For Parents Monday Movement Club will teach you ways to learn about your movement habits and how to replace the ones that aren’t serving you anymore. It will also show you corrective breathing techniques to help restore the connection between mind and body.
